Days Like These....

Days like these....
1. I can't get him out of my head.
2. I miss him so much.
3. I picture the smile on his face that he always had.
4. I want to see him again.
5. I want him to tell me how proud he is of me.
6. I want him to play jokes on me like he used to.
7. I want to see him on the football sidelines coaching his team.
8. I want him to dress up in ridiculous outfits and make a full of himself.
9. I want him here for my cousin's, and my aunt's sake.
10. I wish Bauer could have seen him one more time.
11. I wish I could have told him I loved him one more time.
12. I want to play with his handcuffs like I used to.
13. I picture him holding a Mountain Dew in his hand like always.
14. I wish Thomas could have met him.
15. I find myself reminiscing on the good times.
16. I wish that brain tumors wouldn't take people's lives.

If I had a chance to go back in time...

1. I would have called and visited more with him.
2. I would have told him I loved him one last time.
3. I would have listened to his advice.

I miss my uncle daily and often find myself tearing up for absolutely no reason. I miss the teasing and the smile that he had all the time. I can't wait to see him again and I know he is looking out for me daily! They say that people who have passed away often get in contact with you by putting coins in your path. My aunt has found dimes in many different places that she believes he has put in her path. The day we were heading to the temple to get sealed, my aunt found one on the ground outside the front door of our apartment. He was the greatest uncle anyone could ask for and I miss him so much.
Remember...
1. Tell your loved ones how much you love them.
2. Never go without thanking your Heavenly Father for your loved ones.
3. Call a loved one when you haven't chatted with them for awhile.

You never know when the time will come that you don't see that certain someone again.
I love you Uncle Steven, I miss you and Love you soo much! I know you are watching over us and protecting us! Thanks Uncle Steven for everything!

Birthdays and Crafts

Since I bought Tom that Xbox game lol I decided that while he is busy playing it that I could do something that I love. CRAFTS!! Now the only problem is crafts can be super expensive, but I have found some amazing blogs on cheap crafts! I decided to make a x-mas wreath to hang on the door. I went to the dollars store and bought a wreath, garland, decorations, bell, ribbon, and a sign and the grand total for this awesome wreath I made was $6.00!! It was so much fun making!!I have some other crafts that I will be working on and will post the final project when they are complete!!!

Tom celebrated his 23rd birthday yesterday! It was a lot of fun planning for it earlier in the week. I made hi leave the house for about 2.5 hours so I could get everything set up. I attempted to make his favorite dinner which is flank steak! That is real hard to make but I gave it my best effort!! I also cooking mashed potatoes, rolls and made a salad for the two of us, and we topped the meal off with sparkling cider. The dinner was my first surprise for him! My next surprise was I baked a cake and decorated it for him. I put the BYU logo on it and I actually did a pretty dang good job if I say so myself! The last surprise was his presents. My grandma sent him a card and he was able to open that with the gifts I got him. She sent him money, and I bought him candy and the new HALO game which he was stoked about. I didnt even plan anything for later that night because I new he would want to try out the game!! All in all it was a great birthday for him! and I enjoyed spoiling him!

I Went Through The Temple!!!

Today my mom and I went through the temple for our very first time! as we walked through the front doors we were greeted with sweet little old ladies expecting us. As we prepared for the ceremony I was filled with the spirit and His love for me! The session was amazing and I now know why temples are so important to the church! There is so much to learn and I am so excited that I made the necessary covenants to live with Him again!. I cannot wait to go back! Seeing Tom dressed in white was also another very special thing. I loved it and I am so excited to marry him in the House of Our Lord to be sealed as one for time and all eternity in 2 more weeks! It truly is a blessing to be a member of this church and to have all the necessary tools that are needed to gain exaltation after this life. I know that this is the only true church on the Earth today that has all the keys needed for our lives. I hope that everyone will just take a minute to read in the Book of Mormon and ponder about the messages that are being taught and feel for the Holy Ghost. It truly is a blessing!

What a WEEK!

Well it has been a tough one for us. We haven't had as much adversity as now. Satan is really working on us because he knows we are doing the right thing! We have each other and that it the best part of all! both of our cars broke down this week! haha that was hard but we made it work! The best thing about this week was on Wed. the 7th of July, my best friend had her baby! I am dieing not to be there with the new baby boy and my bestie. She named him Tayson Ray and he is absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way! I am hoping to continue working hard in school and it will be over in 2 Weeks I CANNOT WAIT!! Also this weekend i will be traveling up to Provo to pick up my wedding dress and Tom's wedding band. I am so excited to see how his ring turned out! Then the following week, we are headed to CO to hang with my family, show thomas around and hang with the new baby!!!!

My Little Sister Is Coming!!

I am so excited that my little sister is coming to stay with me for a month! We are going to have a blast! She is such a great little sister and we have really grown close since I have moved away from home! She will be starting softball in August so I am planning on kicking her into shape while she is down here. I know that she isn't very excited about that and that she thought she was coming to stay with me to relax and have some fun in the sun but, I have some other plans in mind too! We will still have fun in the sun but I want to get her ready!

Other things going on right now... Well I just ordered the birth announcement cross-stitch that I am going to design for the new little guy. MY best friend is pregnant back home and I couldn't be more excited for him to come. He is due on the 24th of July and I want to make him so many things! I guess I better hurry and get started!!

As for the wedding, I haven't really been planning anything this week. This week seemed like it was strictly homework for my summer classes! I stayed super busy with that! Tom and I are traveling to Provo in a week or so and then I will be able to jump back on the wedding train!

As for Tom, he is doing great! He is busy working every night and getting fit for football season. I am so excited to watch him play! We have sand volleyball tonight and we both always look forward to that along with attending the temple weekly.

I think that is about it for this post
SEE YA!!

Engagement Pics!!

Tom and I took our first set of Engagement Pictures last week!! It was so much fun but so bloody hot!! We had a great time with our photographer and I cannot wait to see how they turned out! Coming Soon!!!!

Hardly Summer

Well I am back from Colorado and what a great time I had there with family and friends. It was one of the first times (since I have been away from home) that I wasn't ready to leave yet! But I did, and now it is back to the real world! I have school 4 days a week and I am also working 2 jobs. The more money the better!!! But, I am so very tired already. I didn't realize that the Summer school schedule could be so ridiculously time consuming. I spent the first Summer Saturday, in my house, studying and completing homework for the upcoming week so I wouldn't get behind with school and work! I love being busy, but boy is it hard! I haven't gotten to see Thomas as much as I have wanted but thats ok. He is very busy with his stuff and, it seems that my day starts at around 7 and doesnt end till around 6. So about then, we get together and do something. On Tuesday evenings we have Institute and then on Thursday, we go play sand volleyball! Its a lot of fun and I couldn't be more happier! Busy busy with school, work, and wedding plans but I wouldnt have it hardly any other way! I am trying to get as much of my school work done as possible before my little sister comes and stays with me for a month! I am real excited about that and I am ready to kick her into shape for highschool softball. I don't think she will enjoy it nearly as much as I will but that is ok!! :) So for this month, work, and school and for next month, Work, School, Sadee, and then a trip home at the end of the month!
I love it!!!

Sacrament Meeting Today!!

I have been touched by the Spirit many times during church, but I loved the Spirit I felt today! The missionaries in the area were able to speak to us today. I didn't realize till about half way through of the feeling i had inside me. What a blessing in my life to have worthy Priesthood holders around me! I couldn't help but think today about my cousin on his mission in Alabama. Everything he has given up for the past two years, to be able to go to a foreign area ( to him) and teach the gospel. I am so thankful for his service to the Lord and to our family. I also couldn't help but think about my uncle that just passed away a couple months ago and the choices he made in his youth, to become a worthy priesthood holder, to go on a mission, and then to raise his family in the church to know of the gospel. How important it is in our every day lives to keep the commandments of God and the covenants we made with him when we were 8, and how are lives depend on our choices to get through this trial of life to reach our ultimate goal, to live with our Heavenly Father again. I'm grateful for my uncle, for the love he showed me, for the lessons he taught me, for his smiles, his love for me and most of all his love for Heavenly Father. His example shows all that knew him what he stood for up to the day he reached his ultimate goal. I'm thankful for his son, a full time missionary, who chose to step away from his life for two years to take care of the Lord's work. To bring more people to the gospel so their generations will follow their example. I'm grateful for my cousin and for his love in Christ just like his dad!
